January 12-14, 2021 Expert Homer Vinters toured and inspected the Pender, Craven, Central and NCCIW facilities. Dr. Venters was able to listen to the stories of numerous incarcerated people in efforts to further investigate the impact that DPS’s policies and lack of medical care have had on at-risk populations and on facilities overall.
