Forward Justice Family,
Today, we honor the life and legacy of Mrs. Carolyn Q. Coleman as a freedom fighter, lifetime member, and national board member of our partners in justice, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. As a civil rights activist and community pillar, Forward Justice had the honor and pleasure of fighting alongside Mrs. Coleman several times, most notably, in 2014 against Pat McCrory and NC General Assembly's racist attacks on our democracy. Her memory will live on as a champion of equality, fighting for equity, inclusion, and justice. We thank you; may you be in eternal peace.
Carolyn Q. Coleman’s leadership and love will forever be felt as she touched the lives of many North Carolinians.
We will keep the Coleman family in prayer during their time of bereavement.
