Opening Brief Filed in NC Photo Voter ID Appeal

On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, our legal team submitted an opening brief in NC NAACP v. Hirsh, the NC NAACP’s case against discriminatory photo voter ID in North Carolina. As we approach the 2026 Midterm elections, on behalf of the NC NAACP State Conference and six NAACP branches, Forward Justice is lead counsel in the only remaining litigation in North Carolina challenging the discriminatory Photo Voter ID law (SB 824).
